We speak and we create things with our words and many times we take no responsibility for what we create through our speaking.
Have you ever notice that the people who are sick the most are the ones who always complain about being sick? Or those who talk about not having money seem to never have money? Regardless of the circumstances, we create our world with our words, but sometimes we may not see the results immediately, it may take days, months or even years to see the results of what we are saying. Now, I'm not saying "don't take action", that would be ridiculous to state.
During the past few months, I have stated that I work as an interpreter and translator. I have been stating this constantly, every time I meet someone and they ask what I do for a living, I would always reply "I'm an interpreter."
At the beginning of this year, I took a job that I knew would only be temporary, I was unwilling to accept the job for a long term because my heart was not in it. So I went there, worked and in September, I gave my notice. I had applied to a job working as an over-the-phone interpreter. That day I received an email from the company that I currently work for offering me a job. I have been working with them since November 1 and I am LOVING my job.
It is interesting to see how unwilling we, as human beings are to take responsibility for what we create. It is not until we are willing to see something new and create something new regardless of our circumstances that things can actually begin to alter. But we must take the steps also to have our circumstances alter and then, our circumstances WILL improve.
